This is the season in England for woodland displays of bluebells. There is no
doubt that this sort of scene is a cliché, but it's beautiful nonetheless.
There are 3 woods near my village, each as wild as is possible in these times
and so close to human habitation. The first scene is from such a wood kept by
the Woodland Trust, Waresley Wood; the second is from a very wood on an estate
about 4miles from home: I was driving through the woods and was struck by the
density and colour of the carpet of bluebells.

OT: I used a Fuji X100. I really like using this camera and I'm mulling the
prospect of swapping it for the newer model . . .
