Brains and roe are more about texture but the flavour is subtle and very good.
Don't coat them or marinate. That's like judging the flavour of herrings from
rollmops only.
Pull a mussel off a rock, put it on a barbeque/fire just until it begins to
open and eat immediately. Stewed in seawater.
One of the best things ever. A memory that stays with me, for life.
(Best done in remote areas when you are really quite hungry and the mussels are
still a decent size).
