Meade 90 mm diameter Schmidt-Cassegrain 1000/11, used as a camera lens with
adapter to put prime focus at the sensor.
The image on the sensor was about 10.3 mm in diameter.

Absent a good, solid, motor driven equatorial mount, trying to fill the frame
is not practical. The moon is 'moving'
fast enough to make that pretty much impossible with a conventional tripod
head. I counted myself lucky to get it near
the center of the frame at 2/3 of frame height.

Yet another reason to avoid trying for absolute maximum magnification in the
frame. I not only found differences in
focus on different parts of the moon in successive shots, there was distortion
such that some features moved noticeably
relative to each other from shot to shot.
Stack shots, flip between them, and it looks like things are swimming about.

Yup, 1/60 @ f11 worked fine. Any motion blur was below the atmospheric effects.
