For no other reason than my chronic contrarianism, I would argue that we have a
lot of ignorant people. They are not necessarily stupid people. However, I will
agree to the point that many of them seem rather adamantly ignorant--people
unable to either recognize or admit there are things they don't know they don't
know. <g>
As for the "other big deficit", I concur. Perhaps the far more dangerous one,
at that.
