One of the showier birds we get at our feeders is the Townsend's Warbler. We
used to only see them Spring and Fall, as
they went through on migration. A few years ago, a pair overwintered, and we
now may see them almost any time of year.
Whether they hang around due to climate change or the availability of good food
all year, I don't know. :-)
I have a fountain back there where may birds like to drink or bathe.

Townsend's setting down so as to expose it's feathers to the maximum extent; I
suppose to dry them.

Closer crop, showing more feather detail.
