Exactly. Hush Puppies make sidewalks softer. It's all I wore for many years
back in high school days.
But hushpuppies predate the shoes by many years. Little balls of cornmeal deep
fried in big iron cauldrons. Served with pulled pork barbecue and Brunswick
Stew.
