It's pricey for major storage: in the UK it's about £1 per Gb. For me its best
use is for quick access to frequently used files. In the newer iMacs you can
instal a SSD as well as a HDD, giving you swift access to applications, but
slightly more sedate access to the data -- the SSD would be a 64 or 128Gb lump
matched with a 1 or 2 Tb HDD.
