Olympus doesn't always blow chunks. I too have a tremendous amount of
love/respect for the 14-54. I stupidly sold mine and have regretted
that decision ever since. It's not in the same league as the OMZ
35-80/2.8 zoom, but in some ways its better. For one thing, that
28-108 equivalent zoom range is wonderful. I would have liked it to be
24 on the short end, but they did well, no matter what. It's a
fantastic lens.
I just think that Olympus has no idea what it wants to be when it grows up.
