I probably knew this already, but going high contrast in a mono plugin (for
Aperture) has the benefit of masking flawed stitching in a panorama.
E.g.:
<http://images.threeshoes.biz/gallery/27301110_shbBGx#!i=2450445125&k=n6BJ7Rd&lb=1&s=A>
which had a bit of banding (using the auto system in my X100).
Nik's software is similar to TopazLabs's kit, but seems always to work more
quickly.
