Not sure which ones are actually imported, but I know the Monaros & GTOs
were manufactured at the Elizabeth SA plant, just a short pushbike ride
from where I live.
The manufacturing requirements are based on world ratified standards as
we like to export our cars :) Holden is/was selling into the US, the UK,
South Africa, NZ and the Middle-east.
No, I don't think those guys are misunderstood (at least down under) - I
think they are a serious danger to other road users! They certainly
don't understand the significance of lane lines.
