Sorry to hear that, Philippe.
I had known that it is an insidious infection, with potentially very
unpleasant long-term results, but this is the first confirmation I have had.
Luckily in my case the red ring erythema was spotted.
And, Chuck, the vaccine must have been withdrawn before introduction over
here - I never realised that it "could have been", but from what I read, we
have to blame the lawyers. And the press. And Joe Public. Who? Me??

Borréliose de Lyme it is called here.
And I think it is spelt with a Y, after the place, Y as in tyre, easi !
