The only image I've ever seen that really shows the whole thing was a Nat'l
Geog. centerfold. This is less clear than I
recall the printed image to be.

Elsewhere on NG's site, they show the elaborate, multi-camera, multi-light rig
they hauled up a nearby tree to make the
image.
There are some others on NG's site that give some sense of the trees, like some
of these.

I've yet to see anything that conveys, or even comes close, to the look and
feel of a full, old growth grove.

I've pretty much given up. If some unforeseen opportunity presents itself, I'll
take it. Otherwise, I just enjoy them
and settle for less than grand images. ;-)
