It took a while and the help of another parabotanist to identify these two
wildflowers that I came across last week. The first one is Slender Phlox:

I would not have noticed these if I hadn't stopped to examine the Mountain
Lion tracks in the streamside mud:

BTW: I see now how I ended up with the same URL for multiple photos
earlier. If you use the NEWER and OLDER tabs in Flickr the photo changes but
not the URL. You have to select the gallery thumbnails to get the correct URL
for each photo.
