Wow! What a way to slam Florida. Comparing it to New Jersey like that?
But, seriously, I'm not a fan of Florida. For a southern-tier state, I
find that the overall nice climate is offset by other factors. Once in
a while the "deep south" comes shining through (in not a nice way).
Personally, I'd MUCH rather be in the south-west. I'll take New Mexico
any day over Florida. Texas is its own country so I can't go there
without a passport and translator. Arizona is Florida minus culture.
California? Well, southern California is Arizona with ocean-front
property.
(Northern California is where I would prefer to be. Moose's
"neighborhood" isn't bad).
