There was no claim that batteries were replaceable, the units are solidly
glued/sealed together, NOT designed to be
opened up. OTOH, a pair of them cost less than one Emmi-dent. Because their
design uses a transducer up inside the brush
head, they don't have interchangeable brush assemblies. But then, the
replacement brush heads were really cheap, and I
stockpiled lots of them. I found a couple of two packs of the power units
on-line when I discovered they were
discontinued, so I should be able to keep using them for a looooong time.
They must be cut open; I used a Dremel with cut-off wheel. so it was strictly
up to me to make/find replacement packs.
There was no claim they would fit.
