Thanks, Chris. It was going so well until the line, "The older St Pancras
station is now a hotel . . ."
I'm pretty sure that it always was; the "newer" station is just the original
one, refurbished.
The writers for the BBC website (and for Radio 4) are losing their grip, I
think. I stop reading because I wonder how much of the rest they've got wrong.

p.s. The Midlands Hotel, as it was called, is a majestic building which I have
