It just depends on the vagaries and path of the storm. In Goreham, 10
miles away from the Portland Airport, the snow was 3-1/2" deeper than
Portland. Just look at the seasonal snowfall variation for Portland.

Now if everybody in the path of the storm has set records I'd be
impressed. 'Taint so that I know of. It was just another big blizzard.
They tend to happen up your way.
