I'm presently downloading LinuxMint. Of the three popular versions of
Linux available, this seems to be the closest to a seamless transition as I can
find. Got a lot of good advice from a group of radio amateurs, some of whom
are IT professionals and all of whom have first-hand experience with
transitioning from Microsoft OS to Linux, a few of them on business mainframes.
