Except that they're not obsolete, Ian. If each were still functioning they
would be usable with many networks etc . . . My wife uses my old iPhone 4; my
daughter-in-law my old iPhone 3. I have my wife's old Mac mini which I plan to
use with my house IP camera.
The author says that each Canon G is obsolete after only a year. Well they're
not: I know someone with a G5, for instance, that works fine, producing image
files perfectly readable on the current PC.
Ken's iPad is only obsolete inasmuch as he can't use new apps on it that he
would like; but it still connects to current networks, uses TCP/IP and current
browsing standards.
I have to admit to ignorance about the Playstation, though . . .
