My focus was in obtaining a corded shutter release, but if I do get
interested in a wireless one I'll keep this one in mind. I see that Jiakgong
has these, and they are one of my two reliable off-shore sellers.
How snugly does the cable connector seat into the camera body connector?
I might be tempted to get one of the cables separately and use it to
retrofit the fancy timer release that I bought but cannot use due to the
faulty
connector.
An earlier adventure with a corded shutter release had me down on my knees
or perhaps belly focusing/arranging shot and when I got up and got ready to
move on, I stepped on the cord and snapped it off at the camera. I seldom
find a need to use the entire length of the cord and now have the excess
gather up with a rubber band and secured to one of the knobs on my tripod
head. To make the experience even nicer, it was the expensive OEM cord.
