If it is a contax G (some of the finest lenses I have ever owned), It has
been some time since I had mine, but if I recall correctly, there is no
means to manually focus the lenses. Could be a problem. I think they have
aperture rings, but am not sure.

Why not? I think they have an OM to 4/3rds and also a Contax G to 4/3rds -
that's a niche market.
