Thanks for the comments folks.
I chose the E-1 because its Kodak sensor has a good reputation for skin
tones.
In fact I messed up the session because I had forgotten that I had exposure
compensation set at -0.7. This made her skin colour too dark and I was
unable to fix it to my satisfaction post-camera. Of course I was unable to
recreate the situation later.
Different day, different sun, different subject mood ... That's how the cookie
crumbles.
