While seeking an inhouse diversion on a very cold day, I set up a gray aircraft
model in front of a black background, wanting to get a very low key image. I
tried two different AF lenses on my E-510 and neither could lock on and hold
focus on the subject. Perhaps it was the low light environment, but they kept
changing focus, seeking something they liked. I grabbed a few shots that were
roughly in focus, as well as a lot that were out of focus.

Have others experienced this sort of behavior?
