Agreed, Aperture still doesn't support Fuji raw and lightroom is always
much quicker to implement new raw formats (by quite a few weeks) as for
the filing system aperture doesn't force anything and you can use your
file structure - if you plan on running more than two macs then aperture
from the app store will be cheaper, functionally or result wise there is
not much between them, although I preferred aperture for my E-1 raw
files, I prefer lightroom for the 5D2.
I have switched from lightroom though and will not go back now because I
like shooting RAW and apple are gradually peeing me off, though not
enough to switch OS
BTW I tried elements and found it horrendously slow and my machine is
no slouch! so Lightroom, download the demo and give it a go.
