Dead white flowers in full sun are a chronic problem, and this was was

Yes, maybe. I'm going to pursue the idea I had yesterday for making a
short column for the 3001. I did visit the local camera shop in search of
ideas. They have an electronic LCD viewing screen that attaches to the eyecup
mount which can be tilted as much as 90-degrees. Costs around $300. Pretty
nifty, but far from what I have in mind.
