Bryston are stand-up folks in my experience. (I have a 10B Sub Crossover of
theirs, a nice piece). Did you appeal to them directly, at their Canada
headquarters? ( http://bryston.com/pages/repair.html)
I have a connection with a USA dealer, if it's of any help. Not sure what
they could do, but it seems silly that Bryston would deny warranty service
based on paperwork (or lack thereof) from a dealer they may have revoked.
One way or another it should be possible to raise enough of a fuss to get
warranty service on that product, esp. since Bryston's warranty is one of
their strong selling points.
