That looks like the ones that the WPA built back in the '30s. My
grandfather had a single seated one on his farm in Idaho. The WPA would
dig the hole, set up the foundation/floor, mount the seats and
construct the building for $25.00 (as I remember). Compared to most
outhouses, in those days, it was first class. VBG
