Paul, I have had no problems fitting a 50/1.2 to an aftermarket (Chinese,
from the auction site) OM-4/3 adaptor, which even has an AF-chip fitted, so
I don't believe you should have a problem if you choose to go that route,
namely OM-4/3 plus 4/3-m4/3. Furthermore, it surely cannot possibly be that
the protruding rear element could be a problem, as it presents no problem on
4/3.
