I hope you're right. Last thing I need to do is spend money on a new system
and more time learning it, and then finding out it has no drivers for
anything I have. Am colossally uninterested in touch screen. Can't imagine
that will go over big with PS users. Will all the touch screen BS work with
existing monitors?

That's exactly why I bought a refurbished Win 7 system. Win 8... ain't
gonna go there. I'll not be surprised if Win 8 is a big bust for
Microsoft based on rejection of the user interface. I figured if Win 8
is about to go out the door then Win 7 is about as stable as it's going
to get. Who knows, maybe PhotoShop will be running on Linux by the time
Win 7 gets put out to pasture. I think it will be around at least
another 10 years just like XP.
