It is EXACTLY like the pellix, but now that cameras have become electronic
devices designed and reviewed by computer people, the pellicle mirror has
become translucent, although translucent doesn't mean partially silvered.
That's like the way that vignetting, a perfectly good word that every
photographer should add to their vocabulary that explains light falloff in
the corners with some lenses has now become shading, a term that internet
reviewers use because like all computer guys, they think they discovered the
phenomenon just yesterday.
