The 5D doesn't have one and I don't think it needs it. I've never found
the mode dial to have changed without me changing it. The little
Samsung WB650 however is a much different kettle of fish. I'd say that
1/3 of the time I go to use the camera the mode dial is setting in some
foreign spot that I didn't choose.
