The 35-80 had been my main lens with film, but I hadn't used it for more
than a couple shots on the 5D before this trip. I probably shot 90% of
my shots with it. What I am seeing come up on the monitor is quite
heartening. I realized after a certain amount of shooting that I was
using a new Big IS adapter that I had not thoroughly tested. At one
point I began to worry whether the focus confirm was reporting
accurately. However it did a great job. Whew.
So -- I have to agree with you, Ken.
Kind of remarkable to have two guys together on the same trip in 2012
shooting the bulk their shots with the Z 35-80/2.8.
