On the subject of butterflies, I motorcycled down to Pemaquid Point a
couple of
days ago, and apparently a monstrously huge flock of monarchs are
getting ready
for their annual road trip. Two or three tall pines were absolutely
covered
with them. Naturally, I didn't have my camera with me, at least not one
that
would have got me close enough. Come to think of it, I don't have
anything that
will get me close enough. Where's Moose with that OM-D when I need him?

Monarchs? Here's one from last week I took in the front yard of the
Inn we stayed at in Maryland during a quick two day trip to see
friends. They seem to be hanging out there though are leaving New
England.
There were Pipevine and Black swallowtails but not sure yet if any
shots are worthwhile. Didn't bring a macro kit but the CV180 goes to
1:4 anyway and I can put it in a pocket.
There were plenty of motorcycles too on there way to a giant rally in
Ocean City. Few shots of them too.
