Their coverage and service are actually quite good. Their prices are
not. Of course, I must recognize that we got some pretty good deals
with Sprint. US Cellular has a bit of a paternalistic attitude when
dealing with other carriers and with the customers. If you can get
past that, it really isn't too bad. My work cell phone which I used
for about 10 years was US Cellular. In all these years, there is one
tiny spot on I-80 east of Des Moines which drops your calls. Very
frustrating when you are on a conference call.
The free incoming calls is a good offset. We'll figure out how to
maximize talk time on these phones.
