Subject: [OM] Back East again
Yesterday was Travel Day.
We are comfortable ensconced in a condo in the White Mountains in New Hampshire
with a friend. Today was a lazy day,
with just a little wandering.
Just to show I'm not asleep at the switch, here's a very interesting critter I
found walking around on a vista point
explanatory sign. I've certainly not seen the like.
I'm guessing that thing hanging out of the tail end may be an ovipositor. I
only seem to have one shot showing its full
length, which is pretty amazing. The light for that angle wasn't great, then it
walked onto an image, so focus on the
critter, not pose and image quality.
I hope I got the brightness right. The little notebook+ is a nice machine, and
colors are pretty good, but brightness
changes a lot with vertical viewing angle.
