AF seems to be much better and diopter on the VFat least. EVF is same
as NEX 7. Suspect won't really unseat OM-D as King of mirrorless but
we'll see how the new 18-55 (reasonable fast) pans out. Nor tiltable or
articulated LCD and still worry about the novel CFA requiring totally
new demosaicing algorithms. ACR ( much less so perhaps but not totally
gone with Silkypix) converter seems very prone to artifacts that look
like a watercolor filter. Foliage seems to be an issue. DXO with its
army of optics Ph.D.'s doesn't want to support these fuji products yet
from what they have said in their forum. Still--smaller, lower price,
with probable impressive high ISO performance. Lack of lenses/third
party support for options a bit of a worry too.
I wonder if Andrew has handled this guy? Rather miss our list
curmudgeon.
