Looking at the abstract directly appears they believe this technique
may be extended for microscope objectives
and thus complex optical lens designs for broad range of wavelengths
. Wish the full article were available. Could have our library get it
I suppose.
I wonder what the predicted bokeh would be like? There are already
techniques to model a synthetic image--this one ought to be easy.
