Yep! Usually, the bluejay wins. I'm not sure what tore this one out, but I
bet it hurt!
Reminds me of the house in Mississippi where I grew up. The street had a
10-ft median with trees and flowers. A baby bluejay fell from the nest and
landed in the street. My Dad went out to place the baby back in the safety
of the median, and, as he bent over, an adult bluejay attacked the back of
his head.
Sometimes, good deeds can be dangerous!
