I tried over a half dozen RAM defraggers a couple of years ago. Settled
on RAM Def XT v2.71 and I've been using it with Win98SE and WinXP.
Just one thing: Don't let any of these defraggers run automatically as
they can kick in when you least expect them and really slow things down.
