Sorry if I made it too complicated because you failed to pick up the
main point... format the card *in the computer* first using the full
format option, not the quick format. That may take a while. After that
format the card again *in the camera*.
The first step of using a full format *in the computer* is designed to
find and fix errors. The camera alone can't do that.
