Thanks Piers, I noticed. For readers new to this grip, scroll to halfway
the link below to see the current versions. The L-version looks attractive,
and I think you can remove/add it yourself. I like the protection it gives
while maintaining access to card and battery. I bought the (original)
neverready case on eBay just for the camera-part, and while I like it and
the grip it provides, I don't like to remove it when I get the card out or
change batteries. But $175 is not nothing and it will involve shipping and
taxes to Europe, getting awfull close to the orginal hld-6 grip...
