Wow, memories! I haven't written anything in REXX in many years. I still have
it in Kedit, but not as a general purpose
tool at the Windoze command level. I really liked REXX.
I wish it were used for everything. Instead, I'm trying to figure out what
PHP's variable typing is doing with an EXIF
variable - without fully learning PHP.
Come to think of it, I could write my own program in Clarion to do what I want.
In the case at hand, though, someone had
already done it, as part of PIE. If I like the metadata interface enough, I may
even buy the full version as an
alternative to EXIFGUI. (Yes, I know, the command line kung fu is exiftool.
Wonderful for batch file repetitives, but a
pain for ad hoc.)
