:-) newly attained, eh?
Well enough of this light-hearted banter, I'm off with a team of 17 students of
mine to visit some places of commemoration in Normandy.
The journey, driving to Dover, ferry to Calais and thence to Normandy, will be
a bit of a pain, but I hope that it will be something of a pilgrimage for the
youngsters (not another excuse for over-imbibing . . . :)).
The cost of email in Europe, although recently reduced, is a bit high to
maintain contact with the fine members of the List, so I shall put myself on
"vacation".
I shall be back in contact after the next weekend, once a set of grandchildren
has departed and calm is restored . . .
