I hate to tell you this but you don't have the same DOF as a 28mm lens
on 35mm. When computing depth of field one of the important parameters
is resolution. Since a 4/3 image requires twice the magnification of a
35mm image to make an equivalent print or viewable image you must also
capture double the resolution. The short focal length still pays a
benefit in terms of better depth of field than a 56mm equivalent on 35mm
but it doesn't equal the 28mm on full frame.
28mm on full frame, resolution 30 lines/mm, focus at 5 feet
near focus = 3.3 feet, far focus = 10.2 feet
28mm on 4/3, resolution 60 lines/mm, focus at 5 feet
near focus = 4.0 feet, far focus = 6.7 feet
56mm on full frame, resolution 30 lines/mm, focus at 5 feet
near focus = 4.5 feet, far focus = 5.7 feet
