I don't expect that to be a major use. I started out using OM mount lenses on a
Canon 300D with adapter, but migrated to
using AF lenses for most shots. The adapters with focus confirmation and EXIF
info might have helped, but came too late
for me.
I do like the Sigma 600/8 mirror lens for real long stuff. And the chipped
adapter has made a big difference in getting
good exposures without a fuss. The first thing I'm likely to try is a 200 mm to
get beyond the 150mm range of the zooms
I've ordered. I have both versions, and hope the f5 would make a nice, small,
light super-tele.
