Rick recently posted a shot of a Carolina wren's nest he found while
cleaning out his garage:

Nice shot, I thought; then I took a second look at the eggs. There are
five eggs--check the egg to the lower right, and the one on the far
left. Aren't they slightly larger and with a different color pattern
than the other three eggs? Put "cowbird eggs" in Google Images and see
what you think of some of the posted images. I think that pair of
Carolina wrens are going to have a job raising a pair of cowbird
fledglings.
