Moose's touch o tonal tinkering went a little too far, but what it is
doing is bringing more tonal range in the shadow region. I like that,
but due to the grain, the image does lose the "foot". Somewhere
in-between would be about right. I do believe that Silverfast is not
being your friend here and is causing some digitization grief.
