My wife and I and my daughter spent a fair amount of time in Guatemala
at about the the same time as Tina's slides. I was shooting Kodachrome
too. Unfortunately many of the best ones have been lost. Here is an old
scan of one of the remaining for a comparison. It was scanned perhaps 15
years ago so the slide was relatively new. FWIW I see a considerable
bluish cast to my scan as well.

Antigua, "new" market. The old and picturesque one had been recently
destroyed in an earthquake. OM1 + 28/3.5
