Since they are my personal slides, most of them are keeping very well. The
slight scratches (by D&P) do not show on resulting scan, same as some very
fine dust. A few slightly larger dust do visable but it is easy to touch up.
Need to dust off the stage plate after a few shots. Of couse I dust off
every slide as I did in scanning.
Overall dust isn't a problem but the contrast is a little too high,
fortunately most of the shadow details can be recovered during RAW
processing. If necessary I can merge two exposures to make a HDR output.
What most amazing is the color accuracy as long as the slides are in good
condition but some over 15 years old slides are slightly faded and I also
found a few rolls are seriously off which could be due to poor processing.
