We went for a walk yesterday and found poppies in a cornfield near our village. The corn was almost grassy and surreal, with the red of the poppies reproduced faithfully by the X10: http://images.threeshoes.biz/Other/A-Picture-a-Day/i-Nz3cCXm/0/XL/D2012DSCF0540-Poppies-XL.jpg It's a very neat camera, with good results, but you have to make sure that the sensor has "calmed down" before pressing the shutter release. Otherwise you have an over-exposed image.
